 INTERNATIONAL SUPPLY CHAIN & LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT (SE)

TOPIC: Read the instructions and prepare a report

Group of students need to visit big super mart / super market after taking prior appointment of store manager.

They need to identify the entire supply chain process of the super market. At super market they need to check following things:

1) Top 10 fast moving product of the super market and top 10 slow moving product on super market

2) Understand their warehousing strategies for both fast and slow moving product

3) To understand their procedure of buying goods and return policy of the product

4) To understand their bar coding system for tracking product stock available. 

 Along with this information students need to do formal discussion with the owner of super market and understand entire supply chain management of the store.

Submission of Report:

-          Cover page: University name, Subject name, Academic Year, Title of the Assignment , Group Number (For. Eg. Group 1 to 10)

-          2^nd Page: Submitted by names of Group members and roll numbers, submitted to faculty names

-          3^rd page: Index, table of contents

-          Guide lines for the report:

o   Headings : Any font text; Font size 14 to 16

o   Content: Font text - Calibri, Times New Roman, Arial ; Font Size: 12; Alignment : Justified

          It is compulsory for each group to discuss the super mart which they are going to visit with respective professor.
